Everyone's trees are beautiful. I was going to wait to post this, because we haven't added the ornaments and bows to the stairway yet, but with everyone at my house because of the ice storm, I don't know when I will get that done.

Finally got the tree done… but I can't put up the angel or garland yet because I need to buy a new ladder Ray usually does it, and I'm too short w/our ladder… LMAO!!!

Well this is going to sound extreme, but last year I put up a gate… plastic toddler one. My grandson was driving us insane last year, but SO far this year Winston seems to care less… of course that may change when the presents appear!!!

Thanks Tracey! It is larger than it appears. It is 12' and takes hours to decorate.

Oh WOW… it took me 3 hours, and I'm still not done!!! Wish I could hire someone to do it… LOL

OH MY GOSH! Everyone's tree is absolutely beautiful...even [MENTION=7260]Chumley[/MENTION] - I can't wait to see it once it's decorated!

Anyway, here's the tree this year:




I was a little disappointed to have to sell my big 9 ft tree that I had in our old house but this one is also pretty. Just not quite as grand. :-)

[MENTION=9767]GunnyHighway[/MENTION] I've seen lots of people put up a puppy pen around the tree so keep the dogs from going under and knocking it down. They make them in wire so you will still be able to see the tree. You could even use a fireplace gate/screen if you have the tree in a corner or up against a wall.
