Tail pocket red, irritated: another day, another issue

My vet prescribed me panalog (entederm) and I've been using it for years. It's rx only so ask your vet for a tube! You can use it on many things. It's my lifesaver!

I just heard from the vet. They confirmed that her tail pocket is pretty irritated. They are cleaning it with a soothing shampoo and they offered me an injection or oral antibiotic. I told them to give her the injection, which works faster and lasts for two weeks. That'll help with the infection, and they said that I should use an oatmeal shampoo every day to soothe the area. (They'll provide it.)

They told me that they'll check her again on Thursday and give her steroids if it doesn't look better.

How does that sound to you guys?
