Although Vegas can't swim, he sure loves to hang out on the top step and watch. These pictures were taken earlier today.

Cheryl, when we first moved in here a year half ago, Vegas DID jump in the deep end, , he sunk like a cement block, Joe and I freaked and Joe grabbed him and got him out. He has NEVER tried again, he just hangs on the top step and enjoys. See that white pipe sticking up on the top step? There are two of those and it makes a water fountain, if those are on Vegas won't go near either. I do have a 4 ft. babygate around the whole pool that I am OCD about and it is locked at all times unless we are in the pool and I am watching Vegas.

Not only for the safety of Vegas but there are so many heart breaking stories of kids that sneak into pool areas and drown. Thanks for sharing these adorable pics. (wish I was there!)

I wonder if someone makes swimmies, or I know duck hunters in Louisiana use vests on their Labs while boat riding, But I wonder if one would fit to let Vegas enjoy the pool safely? just a thought.
