Something is wrong with my 11 month old bulldogs eye he is keeping it shut and blinking a lot any ideas? I just noticed it this morning

Hi there, bring him to the vet. Can be an eyelash bothering him or something in the eye which I’m sure you already thought of all this. Let the vet check as they are better equipped. Please keep us posted.

I gave him Benadryl and it cleared right up so idk if that helped or whatever it was cleared out

[MENTION=18058]Rober[/MENTION] Helene is right-need to have the vet check it out! Don't take chances with eyes. Could have something in eye,could have bumped it, bitten,eyelash, etc. Better safe than sorry!

Vet check for scratched eyeball or corneal ulcer, please update us.

Yes, when it comes to the eyes it’s best to let a vet check as it could turn into something serious real quick.

Could be allergies, scratched eye or Entropion. A vet will be able to tell which one.

How is Chooper? if not wanting to open, I would think eye lash issues or a scratched cornea. vet for sure
