Poor baby I feel so bad seeing her in the crate.. she looks so pitiful.

She was running around like a crazy girl and now hurt her back right leg. She wouldn’t even get up the first night (Thursday) she could walk with a slight limp, but wouldn’t get up on her own and had trouble sitting too.

Vet put her on rimadyl for 14 days and crate rest too.
Not sure if it’s harder on me or her to be in there. Lol

You should get in the pool with her cause water exercise is fantastic for pulled muscles.

We had her swim a little yesterday. I’ll
Have her do some more today. She is just a maniac out side it’s hard to keep her from running. Even on the leash she tries to go after lizards.

Vet said she thought it was something with her knee.
She said we’d do X-rays in two weeks if not better.
She is already hardly limping. I know the rimadly can make her feel better even if she not though.

You can an electric heating pad, dogs instinctively like to lie on warm pads when they are injured. It is already couple of days after injury, so warm application is beneficial as it increases blood circulation in the area.

I had her on my bed with it on yesterday for a while.
