I would probably try to bargain him down based on the expense that will be incurred for shots.
Has he come up with any $ amount? I'd be willing to donate to get her over to you - maybe through paypal ????

Not sure what the budget is but I would tell him it will cost close to that, or more, just for the shots, but you're willing to take her if he will deduct it from the price.

Yes still waiting. I just told my friend we are having a yard sale this weekend to pay him and have money to take her to the vet. I am going to help her in any way to get this dog . We are so suprised that he finally said yes!!!! I am thrilled!!! And she is staying with me for another night!!!

Ok it's official!!! Layla is out and is safe!!!! I am going get her papers and her kennel tomorrow. Her gross alpo dog food is going to the shelter. Layla will stay with me till tomorrow and then my friend is coming to get her. We are hoping all will work out and that Layla will get along with her boxer as well as her two cats. This was such a suprise today! I actually picked her up yesterday for a bath and she stayed with since then. I had no idea it was his birthday yesterday and he hasn't even returned home till sometime today.

Anyhow, she doesn't need to go back there anymore. Her new chapter begins right now!
