So it has begun, Our Apple Harvest started this weekend , and here I think the deer are stealing them !

Well we started to pick the four apple tree,s we planted when we bought
this home 5 years ago.
now just one tree we got 5 boxes of apples we were overwhelmed , as you can see from the tree pics it does not look like we have taken any apples off the tree,s , there huge fresh and sweet . We processed 1 box only , 4 in the cool basement and tons yet to come off the tree,s . I decided to go back out and take the tree pics to show you how many apples were still yet in the tree,s , and what do I find Rosie and Nelli stealing the apples off the tree,s as a team ha ha ha , 3 legs or not Nelli jumps up and knocks some apples off the lower branch for Rosie and her to have a munch out , even got Nelli with her theft in her mouth shakes head , and i thought it was the deer stealing them stupid human person !

Well I guess the Prettyone will be making a lot of applesauce, apple butter, and apple pie. You might check the squirrels out as they steal my neighbors apples all the time.

Judging form the picture, part of the pack was supervising.

I have a canning business and I do pestos. On Friday I had to remove also my apples on my front lawn and have double apples this year and.... this other house I have allso have this cherry tree which hadvto be picked cause tenant didn't do it. Called Evan Cherry tree. Tart side. As if I have time to these days to can apples n cherrys. Had to pit every single cherry with a straw. Good trick!

To be honest I forget at this moment , I remember they are two of each type but both are different types , dunno the damn good best harvest we have ever had , one apple almost fills My hand there real big

We have a lady that sells fried pies here at our local farmer's market... it about kills me, I love the apple ones!!!

Apple butter sounds great and I really like apple pie a la Mode. On of my neighbors at my old house had apple and cherry trees and the deer ate everything that hit the ground but he planted the tree for them and would sit on his porch late at night just and watch the deer.
