This is great article -thank you for sharing. Dogs are the best medicine, from my own experience (we don't own a therapy dog) i can see great change in my husband
There should be more organisations like this hopefully to reach every veteran out there , but that is just my wishful thinking xx

I know what PTSD is, due to my violent, abusive Dad who was manic
depressive and had PTSD of his own thru several wars and guilt because
he was a monster to his wife & four kids (unspeakable acts) he drank to
be able to live with himself for a couple of hours...I was dxded w/PTSD.

It's difficult for regular people to grasp how disabilitating it is and how
very destructive it is for the person and their family members too.
