Rubik's cube

We just bought my daughter two rubik's cubes today…a 2X2 and the regular one…clueless! Even after the google tutorial. Her suggestion was the same thought I had when I was her age…why don't we just peel off and replace the stickers?! Problem solved!
Anyone ever solve this bugger (without removing the sticker squares)?

When I was younger I would just take it apart to solve it. Now most of the time I can solve it the real way in a few minutes.

Solving a Rubik's cube has always been on my bucket list. I guess once you're able to solve it once, you'd have spent enough time time with it that you learned a method.

Those are fun… I solved it when I was a kid, but gosh I haven't seen one in ages.

There was a book that you can refer to back in the day. With practice it took less than 4 minutes. That was then. Haven't seen one in years though.
