Rescues in CA?

This came up on my FB page. Does anyone have a contact in rescue in CA? She is an owner surrender (aaargh!) and apparently she needs to be an only dog.

I have sent a message to So Cal on their FB.

PEACHES is beautiful and super sweet! She was left at the Shelter because her family said she doesn't do well with other dogs. She needs help now. Please SHARE, the Shelter is getting FULL and she needs a Home for the Holidays! A FOSTER or Adopter would save her now. Thanks!

#A5014961 My name is PEACHES and I'm an approximately 4 year old female Eng. Bulldog. I am already spayed. I have been at the Carson Animal Care Center since 11/27. I will be available on 11/27. You can visit me at my temporary home at C228.
My former family who owned me for more than a year had to give me up because I do not do well with other animals. But they said that I spend most of my time indoors. I seem to be good with small children. I am housetrained. I am good on a leash. I should be the only pet in the house.

I got a message back and they are aware and monitoring the situation. Not quite sure what that entails but hopefully they can get her.

usually means a hold period... in case the owners come back for the pup or medical evaluations.

Just got a message, So Cal Rescue got her today, she's safe. Great news!
