I get asked often about ratio in dog’s raw meals. Rule of thumb, the meat/protein needs to be at least a good 65% preferably 70-80% n the rest would be organs, bones n blood. If you see on your raw ingredients saying 50-60% moisture, I would ask the company what they mean by that. Moisture like blood is usually 5%. No matter what raw is all moisture.

80/10/10 and 5% in the organs should be liver. Here’s a great ratio calculator....

Not related to this directly but I pulled the trigger and ordered an upright freezer (yikes)!! It gets delivered on Monday and once I am out of kibble, Louie will be on all raw!
