I'm going to be getting my first English bulldog puppy soon (YEY, I CAN'T WAIT!!!) and I've decided to feed him Fromm's because it sounds like people on here have pretty good luck with that. What I was wondering is, should I buy the regular puppy food, or the large breed puppy food? I saw someone on here suggest to someone else to get the pink bag which is the regular puppy food, but on a separate post someone else said to buy the large breed food because they are considered a large breed. I know feeding the wrong food can affect growth and have effects on joints and such, so I was wondering if anyone could tell me if it will have much of an effect whether I go with the regular puppy food or the large breed food. Which is better to feed a bully puppy?

Thanks!

I used the Fromm's gold star brand, I'm not sure if that was large breed or not. I will tag some members to get more specific info for you… 2BullyMama desertskybulldogs Davidh

I chose the pink bag after talking with a rep from Fromm couple years ago. The blue bag has only 14% fat content which I feel is too lean for a growing EB pup. Also the large breed is for over 50lbs, which most EBs are right about that weight full grown (or less).

We feed our pups FROMM Puppy Gold in the pink bag.
