My 2 1/2 year old Lily has been in the emergency vet clinic since last night. She had been vomiting all day, mostly bile. Our regular vet had treated her for stomach upset at 9:00am. I got her back there at 4:30pm because she wasn't getting any better. He took an X-ray, hustled us off to the ER clinic as a case of suspected bloat. They put a tube down her throat and drained her stomach to get a clearer X-ray. They still weren't sure what they were looking at. If it was bloat, she should get progressively better. If there is a blockage, this morning's X-ray should tell the story. Anyway, I thank God for these good vets, and for Pets Best insurance! Please say a little prayer for Lily.

Sending prayers and positive thoughts your way .Please keep us updated about Lilly

Prayers coming your way. If it is a blockage the only way to confirm is with a barium xray or exploratory surgery as many items bullies eat will not show up on a regular xray and quite possibly an untrasound.

You're in my prayers, sorry that this has happened to her.

Sending prayers your way, sounds like they have a good plan at the moment, but yes if she swallowed something without much density it will not show up on an X-ray, so please keep that in mind. A few of us have been victims of "clean X-rays" only to nearly lose our precious babies.

sending prayers for your baby. keep us updated.
