Last night jozi had an accident in her crate again.
It was very minor so I'm not that stressed about it.
What I'm wondering is that some of her chew toys got
wet. They are fabric toys. Can you wash these and let
them play with them again or do I just throw them away
get new ones? Thanks for the help.

Yes you can wash them, Use a tsp of bleach in hot water in a tub of water and rinse several times. Then just let them dry!

I wash Vegas's, not because he pee's on them, but because he sucks them and they STINK! I just throw them in the washer on gentle wash with just a little soap and about a tablespoon of bleach, then I put them right in the dryer on gentle cycle again, after time you will have to get rid of some, but some he has had a year and I wash them along with his bedding every Sunday.

I usually throw them in the wash with his beddings and towels and dry them in the dryer.

I throw Lucys in the wash every week along with her bedding...i use a sensitive powder n no fabric softener though :)

Thanks for all the feedback. I was not wanting to
have to by all new toys. That would get a bit too
expensive. But don't want her chewing on pee
either.

It is nice Jozi doesn't eat her toys! My boys only get nylabones and kongs, Ruggles would eat everything else, then we'd have a forced puke or another obstructive surgery....

Alice Kable so far so good with her and her toys. She
just mouths them. Doesn't really pull and tug at them.

I was going to say just put them in the wash machine and they'll be fine. I agree, I wouldn't want to buy all new toys either, it's amazing how expensive they can be!

I wash Butler's with his towels and bedding each Saturday. i buy all my toys from "ryan's pet supply" here in Phoenix. they are half the price of toys at the pet stores. I get all supplies besides food from them.

Silva is a toy destroyer, on garbage day this week we through away 3 toys. I wash her bedding usually weekly but I am doing the tear stain solution and it gets on her bed because she wont stay on her towel so her bed is extra messy this week!

I wash Gertie and Ida's toys in the washer and dryer all the time. They are really good about not destroying their toys, so they are dirty from being dragged outside and just played with. So I do an entire load of toys sometimes. They come out great. I even put them in the dryer, and I don't use the gentle cycle or anything. And surprisingly, all the squeakers and everything still work. They're just clean.
