Our sweet Bocephus

I just wanted to let you all know that our sweet Bocephus passed away today at home. We are heartbroken and devastated. There really aren't any words to describe how bad my heart aches, especially as I'm laying down for the night, without him for the first time in 6 years. He started having seizures about 2 weeks ago and we were just never able to get them under control with medications. He had a really great day on Monday, was more awake and alert and agile than he had been since they started.
I just wanted to thank all of you for all the love and support you've provided to us over the years by helping/teaching us to take care of Bocephus. We learned so much and all of your guidance and insight never went unappreciated.
We couldn't have wished for a better puppy bear. [emoji170][emoji170][emoji170]

This is such sad news as I know how it hurts and you just don't want it to be so... I wish we didn't have to bear this hurtful pain, but I guess we then wouldn't have the joy those dear ones bring. I wish you well and pray for comfort...
