Orion and her boots..which is better?

As you know, Orion needs to keep the bandage dry. Since it's still morning and the grass is still dewy, we have to take her outside with some sort of cover on her bandage. The dr made a slip on boot for her, using 1/2 of a IV bag. Here is her video.

It's ugly, right?

Well, last year I found a pair of build a bear shoes at a garage sale for .50 cents. I bought them thinking they would make a fantastic photo op.

OMG...I had to go and look. My husband pointed out to me yesterday that the BABW logo goes on the outside. So, NO!! We had it on the correct foot.

I was impressed that it stayed on! I had to chase her around the yard as she was chasing Vegas and the frisbee. It stayed on! And, the bottom of the boot/shoe actually has a sole. So...how perfect.

This is how bad I am..when my oldest daughter was 9 months old..we took her to get her photos done..she had her "walking shoes" on..you know the old fashioned ones with stiff soles...and when we got the pictures back..VOILÀ.. That poor baby had those nasty hard shoes ON THE WRONG FEET!! and it's memorialized forever in a big 8x10 framed picture!!
