This thread is more or less a shot in the dark. It will be a successful shot if everyone participates, that's for sure. If people do not wish to participate or feel it's redundant or a bad idea, I will not be offended :D

I browse this forum and frequently see the following types of threads:

• Questions: 'How big will my bulldog get', 'When will my bulldog stop growing', etc. etc.
• Pictures: 'Before and after pictures'
• Debates: 'Neuter/Spay vs. NOT at a certain age'

So I think it would be a good idea for everyone to fill in the following information about their dog(s) so people can compare and contrast their dog with others. No bulldog is the same and we cannot assume that ours will grow exactly like another, but we can at least see if there are any similarities that can be found. Frequently I see people posting before/after pictures without mentioning age and whether they were neutered/spayed, and this is information that is great to know!!

SO, I'll attempt to make an information template here, and if you could just fill it out and include any pertinent details, we soon can have a large collection of documented information about our dogs to compare and contrast with. And instead of making new posts for when your dog grows more, you can simply update your old post, keeping everything clear, concise and consistent!

What a great Idea! You are so right that we all like to compare! So, here goes!!
Bulldog Name: Bogey
Current Age: 18 weeks
Current Food & Amount: Purevita Bison grain free. He gets 3/4 cup 3 x day and then I add homemade stuff to it ( eggs, hamburger, rice, yogurt etc)
Current Weight: 29.2 lbs
Weight at 1yr old: na
Weight at 2yr old: na
Neutered/Spayed: Y/N Getting neutered as we speak (today).

Problems, Diseases: Umbilical hernia which was getting larger, so they opted to neuter him young and fix the hernia at the same time. Otherwise, we were going to have him neutered at 5 months anyway. He has also developed an eye infection that looks like cherry eye, but have been told by 2 vets it is not, so we are treating with steroids and antibiotics. This condition MAY lead to a cherry eye if the swelling does not go down. Also has a hard time finding a food that he did not have digestive issues with-but the Purevita has been great! We tried the Fromm's and NVI Raw, no good- LOTS of very loose puppy poop!!!
Exercise: Daily walks, doggie day care 1-2 times a week and dog park 1-2 x week
Additional Growth Information/Details: He's a big boy, lots of extra skin to grow into! Big paws. No skin issues
