Nyala n Jake

Jake comes from a farm so he’s not use to walk. Almost fell on my butt a few times of being tangled between him n Nyala. He did ok and we only walked 1/2 km since he’s getting surgery for his soft palate we’re not pushing it. He’s cooling off on the floor snoring.


Nyala is wearing Duke on her collar.

Well they are so beautiful. This pain, sadness is so 'fresh' with me (i have just learned of Duke), but these pictures sure do help. Im so glad for how at least this part worked out. He's a beautiful boy and sure seems to be helping with Nyala too. Bless your hearts,,,,,, all of them.

A thin piece of pvc pipe over the leash connector will keep him walking straighter.Love Nyala's little pawprint keepsake of Duke. Her face looks sad still....

Jake is fitting in slowly. Nyala hasn't attacked him in the past 3 days. Yesterday Jake wanted to play and ran towards her and rolled over in front of her all playful n happy.... She just sat there looking at him and walked away. Lol... At least she didn't chew his face off. Both eat separate for now till I see 100% progress on their attitudes. He still sleeps in the kennel at night. Mind you when he gets surgery he'll still have to be kennel. I don't want any fights or arguments with a soft palate surgery.

Im so glad you got him. im still struggling with your loss as well between being so angry and so sad. I guess it just takes awhile even when just love from afar. Thats one lucky pup that he has come to your home. Love more pictures too

Nyala started yesterday to have him closer. But my hawk eyes still on them. I haven’t re-introduce the toys yet.
