Hello! My name is Lexi, and i have 2 beautiful Bully babies! Tank is my amazing babyboy who is a year and seven months, and Indy just turned one on apr 3rd. We got Indy on March 28th of this year, and a day later she has Parvo, the lady said she was UTD on all her vaccines but obviously she lied. so she was hospitalized for 9 days, had an e-collar and feeding tube for the next 4 days at home. but luckily with our love, care and 8,000$$, she is recovered and is a little princess, haha. My only concern is that she looks a bit small. like her paws and head are alot smaller than Tanks. She did lose 9 lbs when she was hospitalized because she couldnt eat and it was all liquid diet.... but idk maybe its just because when we got her she looked fine and the next day we had to leave her for 9 days and now she looks so small? but even that she still seems a bit to small? Idk maybe you guys can help me out. The first pic is when we had the feeding tube for her the second pic was when i first got her.

they are both really cute. How much does Indy weigh? She may just be on the small side. There a a few bullies here that are on the small side but healthy.

How much does she weigh? Girls don't look as Beefy as boys and do tend to be smaller. Our Princess is a petite 41 lbs. That's smaller than most bullies we have met, but we have a few full grown girls here on the forum who are much smaller at 32 to 38 lbs. So they come in all sizes.

When I got her she weighed about 40 lbs, and now she weighs around 32ish... but we go to the vet tues for a recheck.

We love it that Gracie is on the small side. Especially when having to pick her up.
Indy will probably gain the 8 lbs back now that she's healthy, but she will likely stay to the low end as far as size goes.
The bottom weight listed for AKC standard is 40 lbs for a girl.

Thank you guys! and [MENTION=3872]Watson[/MENTION], do the life jackets work? i was going to get tank one last year because he decided he was fearless and just leaped into my fiance's mothers pond... and realized he couldnt swim haha. Yea she will be regaining her weight i was just worried because i was told she needs to have broader shoulders like tank does and bigger paws.

i think it is safer to have a life vest on them. because it will help them float if they can't swim.

Females are approximately 10lbs lighter than boys, either way, they are both adorable! Females are usually not as broad in the shoulders, and have smaller heads. So don't worry about it yet, she is still so young and has a lot of growing to do
