I am a newbie, my bullie is white, she has natural pink skin . How do I know if it's allergy or natural?

Can you post a few pictures of Pork Chop? It will help

Usually an allergy will make them a redder pink, if that makes since. Like 2BullyMama said, a pic would help.

Welcome!!

Allergy pink is more of a red color - if it's yeast then their fur will turn red.

White bully's skin are typically a pale pink color.

The first picture here is when curly had some food allergies. The second is normal pink around his mouth.

Her pink looks like the second pic of the bully. Nothing curled. I am so new , anything makes me become a bit convened . Thank you for sharing the pics :)

Hi great question. My female Blossom is also white, and she has allergies to chicken, salmon, corn and grains. When she has allergy symptoms and it affects her skin, she usually gets a pink face, especially on her chin, and her ears get pink and will feel warm, she also gets pink feet, and will lick her paws a lot. When she doesn't have allergy symptoms, she just has a tinge of pink showing through her fur. It shows mostly on her belly, and on her face, but not on her body.

Hello,

Her food is fine, she eats Taste of the Wild. In my area it gets a bit warm, I put the a/c to keep her cool. It's Jan and feels like summer here.

Koozer has a white head and face and his natural pink color definitely shows through. He gets a little pinker with heat, like after a walk. If your baby is looking really red, consider allergies. Good luck!

I've wondered that too about Brie. Is the a natural pink for her or allergy? Don't know if you can see it as she is snoozing atm.

@lisabear if you are referring to the pink on her nose, that looks normal

When skin is irritated, it looks irritated just like on humans. Red, blotchy, and if they are licking, probably signs of allergies

Yes, the pink she has on her cheeks. I thought that coloring was normal, she has gotten much pinker n even warm there before so I'm guessing that is the difference between normal pink and allergy pink w her then. ?

Lisabear123 allergy stricken skin is red not pink. I wish I had pics of my guys when they had an allergy flare up but I don't. I googled a pic though of a dog with yeasty paws and it typically looks like this. Sometimes the fur will fall out or thin from scratching and licking
