My Roxie Girl...

I just had a long convo w/my pet sitter Susan. Last couple of weeks I noticed that Roxie wasn't acting the same. She honestly seems depressed... Not interested in play, her toys, people, etc... Roxie has always loved Charlie, Susan's Lab and she doesn't even seem interested in him. I'm absolutely crushed... She's 10 years old, and she's eating & drinking. I just don't know... I'm fearing the worst. When I get home I will have to do blood work on her to see if something is going on.

She's at Susan's house... She always watches them there, and she loves to be there normally. Charlie is her boyfriend. I'm wondering if the Adequan isn't enough for her & she's in pain.

Oh Tracey, just the worst, being away & worried about your babies

I'm thinking too, she needs to be evaluated & more meds (or new meds)
given her maybe, different joint supplements too.

Praying over this and sending hugs & love, try to enjoy yourself, Honey.

Ah crap, I forgot about the Adequan shots.... She is not on any other meds with it? I'll have to check the files, but I think both of my guys were on Deramaxx too, for at least a period of time with the shot

They do change when they get older, we also mind a friends dog and she is getting older, she used to love playing with Baz all the time, but she has slowed considerable and seems not as interested to play.

Great idea to check get her checked out when you get home ! Hope she is o.k.

It is probably just getting older. Have the vet check her out as he may need to adjust her meds. My boxer Remi used to love playing non stop and then at about 10 years old he started to slow down a little more each year until he went over the bridge at the the old man age of 13. I miss the little bugger.
