Tracey, Prayers are coming Your way for Roxie, I am sending Positive Thoughts your way Sweetie, Give Roxie a Hug and Kiss from me and Elmo.

I just got home last night, and when I called the pet sitter Susan she told me that Roxie still has loose stool, gas and bloating. Along w/the other symptoms… I'm baffled, she's been on Earthborn Holistic for over a year now w/no issues. I'm going to get her some raw chicken w/rice to give her for a few days, and tomorrow I'm planning to take her to the vet to get a senior panel done on her. I just don't know what the heck is going on… :nope:

Just reading this now.
Hopefully it's just age, and like others have said, she's slowing down.

Ever since I saw Christine mention laser therapy for Banks, I've been looking into places here that offer it if Blue should need it down the road. I think
it's a wonderful idea to help manage pain without meds.

Keeping fingers crossed, it's nothing serious and the loose stool is just because you were gone. Good luck at the vets tomorrow, keep us updated.

Thanks Ellie… I'm just at a loss at this point. I just hope it's nothing too serious...

sometimes, even after years of being Ok on a food, they just start to have issues with it

After I just read that thread about the Earthborne Holistic I about had a heart attack!!! She's on Primitive Natural, but I'm going to show the vet the article anyway...

ddnene Well if it is metal in the food ....that will show up on x-ray. I looked on the FDA's recall website and did not see the dog food recall. I hope all turns out OK with Roxie.

I'm taking her in this morning, and honestly I really don't think she had metal in her food. I never saw anything in her kibble (and YES I do look) and I talked to her pet sitter and she's just as anal as I am when it comes to dogs. I just don't know what's going on… :(

I am going to hope it is separation anxiety and nothing serious. Glad to hear you are going to the vet.

Hoping for some good news about Roxie.

Hope Roxie will be better soon!

Went to the vets this morning… they did a senior blood panel on her. She has a slight fever, and she has a GI virus… nothing serious. I also told her about that food issue w/Earthborn Holistic so she did an ultrasound just to be safe. Nothing in her tummy, Thank Goodness. We discussed a different protocol for her arthritis issues, so that will be something we will have to discuss… just waiting on the blood results
