[MENTION=1046]bulldog family[/MENTION] - have you had any luck with Norm? my dog Sarge has MRSA and e coli bacteria in his feet from surgery he had two weeks ago... Vet doesn't seem very worried but I am!

WOW..I know a bit about mrsa..but never heard of it in dogs either..I would be concerned and maybe contact an animal specialty clinic? or a vet school in a university? Just take care of both of you..Sorry..get well soon

MRSA is a zoophyte and can be spread to humans. There is a silver based gel that works very well on topical infections. As mentioned before hand washing is the key for you. You must also be careful if you have any open wounds. You can get MRSA from just about anywhere it is throughout the community.
