There is a bald spot on my dogs back that wont grow back. Its the size of a soft ball. I suspected mange/Mites. Any suggestions? Thank you

If mites/mange then you'd see evidence of inflammation/irritation and demodectic mange usually starts on front legs or head and moves back. Can we see pics?
If no redness is present then a likely cause is alopecia.

Duke also gets ball spots n so far only thing that works is NuStock. His fur does grow back. And Chip has also great advice n questions.

Yes, ryecoon Get Chapo some NuStock. It is a good go-to. The tube will last forever! It never goes bad. Follow directions on tube. Usually available at livestock supply or online.

No redness. Just a big bald spot and looks like eczema on some parts of his neck.

Cute little Chapo may have a Staph infection going on. Have your Vet check it out.
