Then later heard it was a "professinal" con. It really hurt that someone would do that, but I guess it's really in the giving, not where it winds up. It did ruin my trust,once again,though.

[MENTION=8741]Manydogs[/MENTION] - yes I hear the skepticism. I do not blame you. There are those that are truly in need and there are those who are trying to make a quick buck. Shame on them. My family and I volunteer on a soup kitchen here in Santa Ana, CA., where my wife is a team leader. The facility/structure is within a residential neighborhood. The homeless will travel on foot/bike, in whatever transportation mode available to get there for their meal. Then there are those able bodied people, in shades, with an apple iphone 6 boldly calling back home that there is good food and come on in. I can tell, the caretaker of the facility, I can see him shaking his head. Of course there is plenty of food so I will not confront the guy.
