Everything is fine and we are fine. Just hard to believe how fast things change. Crazy week at work and then I cosigned to help my son purchase a new car. Technically it is used, but it was a repo and had less than 3,000 miles on it so i am calling it new. It just made me realize that he was no longer my little hockey player and is finally starting to come in to his own.

Life changing events usually do sneak up on us... Always bitter sweet to see them ready to leave the nest. I have no children, but have helped my sisters deal with the emotions of letting them grow up and having not 'seen ' it coming.

I couldn't agree with you more. Maybe not stop the clock but slow it down. I would have killed to have a car like he got at 19. I do have to admit it is a pretty sweet ride though.

HECK YEAH!!! Every time the hubby is out of town, my son tells me to buy Dad a corvette!!! He would LOVE IT!!! Hmmm… LOL
