little sore behind tail

what do you guys n girls clean your bullys tail ,archie has a spiral tail and is a little sore undernreath ,ive put medicated talc on but would you put cream on in future on a daily basis

You could use diaper cream in the area… I use Boudreaux's Butt Paste.

I'll clean with wipe, and put destin. Any baby ointment would probably do

well hes been vets and he has a infection he is on anti biotics n cream he has a corkscrew tail and the problem or sorest point seems to be right in the middle .hate seeing so upset and in pain .just dont understand how its happend

didnt realise about this pocket in the middle of his spiral ,feel so bloody guilty ,he actually let me put cream on without crying this morn so hopefully antibiotics kicking in

We all learn something new about our babies almost daily... do not beat yourself up!!

archies alot better today thank god ,will deffo learn from this ,do you reccomend cleaning with wet wipe or witch hazel from now on please anyone whos dog has a spiral type tail

I would stay with witch hazel because it is a natural drying agent

My bulldog doesn't have a spiral tail but she does have a tail pocket. I clean it with an unscented baby wipe followed by a cotton ball of witch hazel every 2-3 days. Her face wrinkles are cleaned daily with the witch hazel.
