Leaving my baby for the 1st time

It is the Queens birthday long weekend here in Qld Australia this weekend and I am going down to Brisbane for two nights and leaving Ftse with my daughter and her family and I am getting aggitated about leaving him and not seeing him, I know he will be fine as he loves Melanie and follows her around when she comes to visit and when we visit her he has a wonderful time with her two dogs and the 5 children but he is my baby after all, and this is the first time I have left him.

i understand what you mean. I was nervous the first time I left watson for a week. I just came back from another trip this past sunday and he was with his dogwalker. It was uneventful other than they didn't clean his face that well. I think your daughter will take good care of him

I feel for you. I'll be leaving these two in a couple weeks for five whole days. HOW will I manage? I don't know!

Fixin' to go threw the same thing... leaving Larry with a boarding/daycare where he goes to conformation training. Love the people and they have web cams of his "room" and the daycare areas but.. stilllllllll ....

oh my yes the seperation from your bully. thankfully i have never had to leave sarah for a long period but every week i spend 2 or 3 days at my house and its so hard not seeing her every day.
