Lambeau has been diagnosed with lymphoma

We had TWO... yes, count them two... real poo yesterday and today!!!! His first of both days were a normal poo he would have had prior to July of this year.... so excited to see it!

@Bulldog2001 - the gut smooth arrived yesterday so I added that to breakfast today.

Awesome

Keep me updated on how the Gut Soothe works for him.

I always split the daily dosage into the amount of meals they get(1 tsp for example into 2 meals=1/2tsp per meal).

@2BullyMama , early in another post we were talking about husk. Have you tried giving Lambeau psyllium husk ? Add yogurt to his diet.

This is what I said in other post…….BTW to this day this person never had loose or blood in his stools. Works for him šŸ™‚

There’s no limited time. Can be weeks, months.

I know someone that for yrs not one doctor could figure out why that person kept going to the bathroom #2 with full of blood each time. He did the cameras, special diet, remove this n that, pills here n there till one day I told him to go see another doctor who I was working with his wife. You know what he prescribed? Husk n yogurt. He went to a naturopath n she told him….If your plumbing isn’t working, your whole body wontā€ People think taking fiber will induce more #2 but truly doesn’t if you have a plumbing issue. It’s a bit like the pumpkin purĆ©e we give to our dogs. Stops liquid stools. All this to say, try it.
Helene -- the husk came yesterday... since I started the gut smooth I'm going to wait and see how that works before adding this in or switch to it. The frankincense arrived too, so i will be rubbing that on the one node that will not go back to normal

Good thinking Missyā€¼ļø

Well, we had a good run will it lasted.... back to mushy poo :( thinking we will have a roller coaster of a ride in the poo department since the doctors have no idea why it is happening

Hopefully he improves, have you been giving the adored beast gut soothe split the daily amount into each meal??

Have you tried the husk?

Have you considered that you are feeding more than he requires? Offer 75% of of what you currently feed and see what happens over a couple of days. Are you guys spoiling Lambeau with treats, people food...for obvious reasons?

I’m with Chip on this. I know I mentioned this before, don’t try too many products as it most certainly can backfire on you. As you know I always suggest one product at a time. Do a week on it. If it didn’t work remove it try your next product. In this case it’s gut products. Btw, never forget that gut products you will see stool issue till it settles down. It can be anything, like cytopoint shots mix with chemo. Both are chemicals n can cause a reaction. Yes oncologist are the specialists but at the end of the day it’s still chemicals. Do your steps n don’t get overwhelmed as you’ll miss something. We all do when our furballs gets sick. We overlook something. šŸ‘

Yep, we are probably over treating cause he is going so much, he gets WAY more than he ever did before. I'll cut back.

Cyotpoint was not given, I'm still on the fence with it. He is scheduled to get it on 11/4, but right now I'm deciding against it. His only meds is chemo and panacur right now and that is how I want it to stay.
I'm using the gut soothe right now, will finish the jar then wait a week to see if I continue with that or move to the husk

I would wait on the Cyotpoint. Give him a little break. Keep a diffuser going to help him out with his allergies, spray his bed with water n lavender. It will help the itchiness. Well you know what to do. You’re on the ball Missyā€¼ļø

11/4 – no real change from last update except his face/paws are red/swollen which is part of lymphoma. No remission and node not going down in size so he is on CCNU this week, two pills for one day, then an antibiotic due to this med causing a drop in white blood cells. Mush is totally fine, eating, playing, walking, but when he sleeps he is OUT hard.

Next appointment on 11/10 will be CBC, chest x-rays and evaluation of the effect of the CCNU

I'm so sorry, just reading this. My Kylli was diagnosed with a type of lymphoma just about two years ago. Sadly we had to let her go about two months ago. Not only because of the lymphoma, but she tore her knee and cause of the illness, operation was not an option. I hope you get Lambeau's gut problems sorted and many good times still. You have probably tried allready everything, but L-Glutamine has helped some dogs with similar problems.

@RiiSi - thank you my friend.... yes, trying everything and anything... I'll add that to the list

Sending hugs for Lambeau and your family, really really hope everything works out
