I rarely see Vegas's Penis, usually when he needs his anal glands done and he scoots across my area rug. Not that I stare but I have noticed it is always just pink in color. Today I took him bye-bye and I looked over at him in the seat and it was sticking out. The tip was dark purple and the rest was pink. Is this normal? He has not been going out to pee any more than normal, there was nothing coming out of it, it was just hanging out.

I leave in the morning at 6 for 7 days and I am worried he may have some sort of infection.

It's normal for dogs who are mating, but even though this is not the case, for whatever reason he had the blood rush to the end... I wouldn't think it is a dangerous situation since it does happen naturally, unless it doesn't go back to pink after awhile, or is causing continuous discomfort.

See this is why I am not sure about getting a male  I am of no help but I'm sure he is fine. Hope you have a great vacation.

Maybe Vegas had been watching doggie porn, or thinking about those foxy poodle girls he sees at PETCO! It is totally normal, don't worry, and have a great vacation!

I think that would be normal. This is why we dont get male dogs I have a husband I dont need to see it from the dog too!

Hello,

So much for mature people. No reason for me to reply since I have 3 male bullies.

NOT g'day to y'all

I guess I have all this to come, and aside from all the funnies, that were obviously going to come out, I am very glad you brought up the subject KMARINO.....it will help lots of other anxious members searching for answers. I know that it would have freaked and panicked me just as much as it did you.

Kelly, this happens to Wilson too from time to time, more often than not though. I too was a bit concerned since he'd been nuetered and all but then after some research realized it's quite normal. It generally happens when he's excited. And by excited this can simply be when I come home and me and the kiddos go outside for them to go potty. That's about usually when it happens. I know this sounds gross but unless he's oozing something, itt's perfectly normal.

Hope that helps.
