I've noticed over the years living in Toronto that people are littering more and more, and are less and less likely to keep their streets clean. And I live in a quiet suburban neighbourhood. There's always been people been letting their dogs poo on public and private grass without picking up, but now it's accelerating. I've had to call the city a couple of times to get large objects removed like a free standing basket ball hoop and bags of rubbish that people are throwing in public spaces near me. Cars are constantly throwing cups of coffee from Starbucks and Tim Hortons and bags of fast food onto the street. The garbage cans at the parks and even at the gas station are overflowing with garbage. And tonight someone even hung a bag of dog poo in an Amazonbasics bag on a tree across from my house. Whatever happened to community spirit? Is anyone else facing that?
