Woohoo! We got power! Some roads are like ice rinks here. Couldn't even get to the mailbox because I was sliding everywhere. Hopefully tomorrow will be better ... At least we can take warm showers now.

Yeah, it's pretty bad, I'm in Burlington, and we had no power for 2 hours in the morning, and on and off in the evening, but we didn't get it as bad as Toronto, some areas won't have power for 2 or 3 days. I hope they get it back for Christmas. We went into Mississauga and did some Christmas shopping, and then went to Swiss Chalet for dinner. Lots of trees have fallen, and there is a lot of ice everywhere. It would be better if it was colder and it snowed instead of rained, snow is better than ice, and not as dangerous. I hope the freezing rain stops.
