Picked up these treats for training Millie the other day and oh my god the smell! She loves them, so hooray for high value treat!

BUT, I’ve now been told I can’t open the container in the house anymore the cloud of cod-stink is thick. Now I am a little self conscious about filling my bait bag with this stuff

It was just one time lol. I did just buy a bag of salmon skin treats from Trader Joe’s that they all love.

I have seen those!

I haven’t got any for my dogs though, cause I thought it would smell.

Well if she really likes them and training Millie will go better with these, maybe train her outside or when whoever that doesn’t want them in the house, wait for them to leave the house then train her while the other person isn’t there! Just a thought!

Those are very healthy and nutritious treats though

Not too bad. Or I’m just immune to them LOL

I bought a few bags somewhat that. Mine was dry mini sardines. Yes sure smells like whooooa. Ended up giving one to each sons for their dogs lolll

Bag I kept was for outside snack.

Picked up the VitaEssentials minnows and they don’t smell that bad, and Millie LOVES them!

I was trying to get a photo of her stacked with one on her nose, but she immediately taught herself how to flip it

Turns out they are a lot of fun to give

We discovered a local pet supply store basically around the corner from us that has many of the food brands we couldn’t find before. So I may actually try out some other options: carna4, Earthborne, acana singles, Zignature (although I don’t like how they handled the DCM scare), and others. Can’t actually believe it, feels like maybe I dreamed it up but we have the minnows and a small bag of carna4 to prove it
