HOLY COW... I've got GOOD NEWS!!!

Today has been one of those GREAT days... FINALLY!!! If you guys remember my car drama from this past summer, well GM just notified us that they are sending us a check to help pay for that transmission repair. I have NO idea how much, but anything will be good... AND the BEST news... My son just received notice that more than half of his college tuition will be paid for by scholarships!!! WOO HOO!!! I'm so proud of him!!! I'm so bummed I can't call my husband to tell him the good news!!! UGH!!! LOL

Congratulations, that is fantastic news, and you must be so proud of your son. Tuition is expensive, so getting a scholarship for half is a huge relief for you as well. That's great. You should go out and buy a lottery ticket with your luck.

This is the main reason we always lease my wife's car. Before it starts falling apart we get rid of it and if it breaks while in our possession it is always under warranty. It's not for everyone but it is perfect for us but at least we always have one vehicle under full warranty at all times.

I absolutely HATE car shopping... So stressful, and the salesmen are all over you!!! Drives me insane... and then of course there is the sticker shock you have to deal with. I have to get new tires for my car & if the alignment is off, then we are getting a new car. I'm dreading going thru that again...
