What is the best raw uncooked bone for recreation purposes for a bulldog to chew on. By that I mean what animal bone and from where on the carcass?

If you are looking for raw bones (not dry packaged bones like you can find in pet stores and pet sections at stores) for recreational chewing, lots of people like to use beef knuckles. You can usually ask a butcher and find them. I've also heard of people using any bone from sheep or veal but those may be harder to obtain (especially the veal) but are a softer bone.
If you have a vigorous chewer you want to stay away from leg bones though as they can sometimes break teeth, especially the o shaped cut bones. Another thing to think about is, if they consume too much bone marrow from the bone they can get diarrhea. Just a heads up on that one![]()
