Flea Advice / Irritated Paws

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Noticed a flea crawling on Bella shortly after drying from a bath. She’s never had them and we just recently went to a new park. Most of summer has been indoors.

Couldn’t catch the flea in time so it’s still on her, tried searching but no luck.

Any advice for natural remedies or what your first step would be? I’m not wanting to put her on flea/tick meds after bad side effects in the past.

I have two bullies so not sure if more will surface.

I did rub coconut oil all over (and will spray Wondercide tomorrow).

She also has irritated paws (see photos) from the grass… had Cytopoint shot but not sure how to combat environmental allergies since moving to a new state.

We recently started Duoxo shampoo and wipes but not neither is helping.

I've used a mix of neem and coconut oil to help with deterring fleas, but I also use wondercide on them as well. Wondercide has yard spray and a spray for your pets too.

For the paws... wipe them after each outing to get the allergens off. You can also to help with the swelling now, soak in Epsom salts for about ten minutes

4oz coconut oil
Quality Essential Oils :
15drops of each: lavender, peppermint, eucalyptus
8drops of lemongrass & TeaTree
Shake well n rub it in.

Do add pure drops of lavender on the outside of the collar. The side not touching the skin.

Definitely never use a flea collar as it’s made with pesticides n so are all them flea treatments you buy from vets or pet stores. I e been doing my own oils n also use it on my dogs. Totally Works!!

You might want to spray where she lays down. Like her bed etc.

For the paws, I would try NuStock. You sure it’s grass?
