First time bitches in heat

paisley & Nula are due there first season in heat. I have always had boy dogs with the exception of baileys who was fixed.
There bits are swollen and there cleaning there selfs
My problem is diesel. He's a decent size and his weight alone could damage the pups.
When is the last point I can leave them together
Is my only option the crate
Any ideas to stop humping ASAP and welcomed.

[MENTION=6047]jimmyjj[/MENTION] if they are in hear now, then I would separate them. You can switch them out some too. We keep the female in heat crated some and the males crated some when they are in heat. Once they stop bleeding then I would wait another two weeks, but they can be out together under strict supervention, but if he still wants to hump them, then keep him away.
