I have 2 British bulldog puppies now 12 weeks. Louie & Frankie. Both brothers. I was looking for advice on feeding. I started introducing raw food into their diet at. 10 weeks however Frankie developed an infection and his pooās had blood in them for a good while. The vet advised me to stop with the raw as it has a lot of bacteria and not good for the pups at this age. I have started giving them dr Johnās as itās high in protein. Is this a good alternative? This has been a week now since starting dr Johnās kibble and Frankieās poos are still quite watery. Iāve been advised to re worm him and gave him the pro-kolin paste. The blood occasionally comes but is not as bad as it was. Could someone let me know if the dr Johnās stuff is ok? And how much should I be feeding the boys a day? Iām currently feeding them 4 small meals a day approx 70g each per meal. Is this enough? Or too little ? Also how do I stop them from eating each otherās poo
Any help appreciated.
Any help appreciated.
We have been feeding our 15 week old puppy Wesley on raw since the day we brought him home, its our first time feeding raw, our previous bully Dudley was started on kibble until he had kidney stone problems then had to have a wet diet as kibble can concentrate a dog urine due to its lack of moisture which leads to kidney stones (not something we knew at the time)
