Oh yes. Then he forages, looking for that last tidbit that might of "walked 3 feet away from his bowl".

Yes they both are. Every last bit has to be inhaled or the meal is not complete.

If they could lick through the stainless steel, they would. Then the hunt begins for morsels that didn't make it in their mouth.

Oh yes. He would lick a hole in the stainless bowl if Id let him. Get a little drink and head right back to the bowl tongue ready for round two.

Depends if he likes the food. If he does he licks that bowl so much it moves across the floor and he walks licking it.

Yes, my bully cleans his bowl, the floor and will try to get our rescue rat tail terrier bowl if given the chance.

Licks the bowl and checks the floor carefully. Occasionally have even moves the bowl to get that last morsel. Drop a piece in the water bowl? No problem, he'll go after it like he's bobbing for apples!
