Sometimes. Especially when they know they are doing something wrong and I talk sternly to them. It is then followed by the proverbial "Stink Eye."

Yes, especially when you mention words he recognizes. It's fun to talk to him like a human, and throw in words like his fur cousins names, cheese, yogurt, nana's house, kids are home, etc. He darts off to the door or the fridge depending on what's said!

Yes they both do unless they are being scolded, then they turn their heads and don't look at me.

Only sometimes when it's a specific word he likes to hear (such as cookie, car ride, walk, mailbox, etc.) otherwise I talk to him all day anyways so he just usually ignores me
