General Question Coat Growing In Funny?

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question but we've got 3 bullies and I've never had their coats do this. My baby, 8 months old--his coat suddenly has this weird thing going on where is has this funky stripe growing in. It's not a different texture at all (still soft). So, is he changing colors? Is this because he's a puppy? Is it weather related like he's blowing his coat?

That is normal for some of them to get a darker streak down their back.

Lambeau is like that too.... he is the same color as your baby and he has the dark 'stripe' like that

Ellie is just about 8 mos. and just went through this about a month ago, and she got her "stripe" too - her coat is just fine, actually looks beautiful

Okay, thanks everyone! I just don't remember it falling out and coming in like that on my other two--it looks so weird right now.
