Chunk was diagnosed with a heart murmur when he was 8 weeks old. The breeder surrendered him to a clinic to either rehome or put him down. A wonderful employee raised him but the concerns about his heart grew so she contacted St. Louis English Bulldog Rescue to get him the medical help he needed. After an echocardiogram, Chunk was diagnosed with pulmonary stenosis, a potentially fatal heart disorder that can be treated with a procedure (balloon valvuloplasty). This procedure will allow Chunk to have a happy, normal life.
