It went well. We got home a little while ago & he was finally allowed to eat. The Dr. said he probably didn't need pain medication but gave 3 days worth just in case. Attached are before & after.

Looks good. Raven gets Cherry Eye in one eye and we are fortunate that we are just able to massage it back in. I always dread and worry that it will get bad enough so that we need to operate on it.

Thanks guys! Bizzymammabee we were able to massage it in but it kept popping back out. Also, you can't tell in the first picture but he rubbed his right eye so badly, the white portion turned dark brown. [emoji22]

Poor baby. Hopefully it stays gone. I really tried to keep massaging because I was scared that there could/would be a reoccurrence post-op. Our vet had warned us that it would be possible. She does get it every now and then but everyone in the house knows how to massage it in for her. I am hoping and praying we don't run into any eye issues with our new pup.

His eyes look wonderful already.

I know with Blue, they were red for a few days. His look white.

Awwww look at that sweet face. His eyes look great. :)

Awe... So happy it all went well --- he sure is handsome

He looks just perfect, what a shame to spoil the look with the cone...you are going to use it?

RiiSi Since the vet didn't give us one, I don't plan on using a cone unless we see him rubbing his eyes. Thank you!

What a lovely face!
