While we were on the ship last week I happended to have cnn on the TV and I saw the fires in cali. I immediately panicked of course. I was so afraid for @cali baker and @dolphin and the rest of our cali members. I said a prayer for your saftey and I hope all is well with everyone.

That giant fire is burning way up north so we are ok down here luckily. The drought has really really done a job on this state! Thank you for thinking of us Rosalie.

Yes, as Phil said, most of the fires are up north. There's one called the Clear Lake fire and that's in the Sierras near Lake Tahoe, i believe. Sadly, i just read that a 2nd firefighter died while battling that one. Thanks for thinking of us though, Rosalie.

How awful. Fire fighters are heroes for sure. Especially here on Long Island where they are all volunteers.

No words adequate to tell of the sadness I feel for this ongoing destruction of
life, homes, property, the beautiful land & vegetation. I've so many friends in
CA, visited many times and even lived there, attended 9th grade, Alisal High
in Salinas, loved it!

I pray daily for all my friends & the people of CA, especially the families who've
lost loved ones ;( May God bless California & it's people, Amen!

It is tragic! We are having a horrible fire season here in the inland Northwest as well. Glad to hear our Cali peeps are safe
