Birthday ideas ?

Our beautiful pup is turning 4 (the one in the foreground in my avatar) and i want to spoil her. What is a good treat to give her for her birthday ? With our eldest one we once had her eat a cake, but since then we refrained from it.

Thanks for any ideas.

There are dog cakes now... search your local private owners pet stores.... or give her a steak!

Get a large thick 10-12oz Filet Mignon...sprinkle both sides with kosher salt and set in fridgy for an hour. Remove and brush with melted butter & pepper both sides. Toss on a HOT grill for a 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from grill and cut 1/2 of it into 3/4" cubes. Serve.
Oh yeah, the other half is for you. Sit down next to her and enjoy your time together.

BTW, eat quickly because whatever you have not eaten by the time she's done becomes hers. Demz da Rulz!

I give raw T-bones. Since I have 2 I have to get the non bday one a steak too.

We give our pups marrow bones... they can chew on the bone, and when it's clean stuff it with peanut butter (NO artificial sweeteners!!!) and put it in the freezer for a later treat!!! I have also made doggie cupcakes for my guys too, lots of recipes online.
