Baxter's first experience in the water

This is probably a lot more special to me as the "father". I was enthralled the entire time. He has never been in the water before. So neat to see him experiencing things for the first time.

But for the average onlooker, it gets pretty entertaining near the end, when he gets so excited, he does the "Tuck and Run". Baxter never does that, so it was really funny for me to see him go nuts like that. I get a lot of joy out of seeing him happy.

PS: I kept him on the leash because I didn't want him jumping in, but at one point the tuck and run he ran out of leash!!! LOL

That's so cute! June is our first dog (as adults, aside from our family's pets) and she's the same age as Baxter so I can totally relate. They really are like children! Also-Baxter is looking soooo good!

Thank you for sharing. What a wonderful trip for the two of you. How old is Baxter? Charley loves the beach and will run back and forth the in the water as long as we will let him. We also keep him on a leash, just in case. I have pic of him running the beach on Facebook.

That is pretty cool! Wish I could take Ace to the beach, but too much spring breakers going on right now and after this month the temps will be over 100 here in south Texas.
