Augustus wondered into a kickball game last week and his owners were nowhere in site. A kind person took him home for the night then took him to get scanned for a microchip the next day. He does not have a microchip! She put up signs and let the local shelter know she had him. And still no one has come looking for him.
She called us earlier this week and asked us to take him in. He is now at Tucker Animal Hospital and will be getting a check up by Dr Harris later today. He appears to have a skin and ear infection and he needs to be neutered. He is heartworm positive.
Dr Harris believes he is two years old.
He spent the last week with two pugs and he liked them just fine (a little too fine…he was always trying to hump them). We have not seen him around cats or children. He is sweet and loving and really likes to chase the ball around the house.
