Oh what a good girl!!! She is beautiful!!!! Sorry if I missed it somewhere.....but what is wrong with her eyes?

She’s always teary and has boogies and a couple weeks ago her eye started getting swollen, she couldn’t open It for a while and she would paw at It all the time. Took her to our normal vet and they said she has entropion. Just wanted to get a second opinion before we made any major decisions.

Hi everyone! So she definitely is going to need surgery. This doctor was fantastic and really broke everything down for me. She’s got bad eyes and a little bit of everything going on. Lots of extra tissue that’s turning in in some places and turning out in others. He recommended that because her eyes are so complicated that we absolutely go back to our normal vet and get her under the care of their ophthalmologist. Usually general practitioners do the surgery but in her case we think it’s best to have her treated by a specialist. Will be making a consultation appointment with him soon. On the road to getting her all taken care of! We were thinking of having her spayed at the same time but if that’s too much I’m more worried about her getting her eyes fixed first. Thanks for all of your well wishes and concerns !

Please tell me more! Will she be able to see after? Did yours have lots of extra skin around the face? Fran has a lot of saggy skin so dr said that can make It a little tough. Did It change your bullies eye shape at all? Any post opt complications or words of advice ?
