He's got a lovely face! Cannot say whether he is full-bred or not - I've learned that English Bulldogs come in different shapes! Compared to my dog, Max has rather short legs and less excess skin around his neck and less noserope. Pure-bred or not, he has a very beautiful face!
Did he come with papers so you know his background?
Thank you. His face was what attracted me to him. He has papers which says he's an English Bulldog and I have a seen both parents and his brothers and sisters in the litter (mostly all white with a few dawn patches).
I think he is beautiful but did sort think maybe a bit of pug and his feet are a little smaller but that I'm going on FTSE who has big feet which gives big bruises, but if you have papers he must be I use to think the same about FTSE but as he has got older he has changed.
100yrs ago, the real EB never had a big rope, droopy eye, ears nor did the pug . The bull terrier never had an egg shape head.. I can go on n on. Nyala is a smaller version of EB. And it's fine with me. A lot of dogs got altered by humans. It is what it is. So basically same breed dogs wont all look the same. And its ok. You love Max and that's what counts.
I can see Mastiff in him...but that does not mean there IS Mastiff in him. The one pic where I can see his tail, it appears as though his tail comes to a blunt point but it's very hard to tell. If it does end in a blunt fashion then he's likely a mix with a docked tail. If it comes to a point in a gradual taper then it likely has not been docked. No true purebred EB will have a docked tail. A better pic of his tail will tell the tale...or at least part of it.
He's a handsome fella regardless.
