Yak Milk Chews

Does anyone give their bully yak milk chews?

I never bought it as I never buy any product if a company can’t bother to mention the % of the sodium on their products. Salt can be deadly for pets. I rather give my dogs marrow bones or buffalo horns.

I bought one ONCE...what a mess. I only give raw marrow bones, then stuff with peanut butter and freeze for a treat another day

I've given them to Jax before years ago. A bit messy.

We tried Dudley with one and as usual he got bored after 15 mins :D

Well there you have it... I will stick with antlers then! :)

So I just saw a post on Facebook yesterday about different chews and several people said not to do antlers because they can fracture teeth and the vet bills can be quite costly. I don’t give antlers so I have no experience.

I think deer antlers would be the most likely to crack a tooth-they are the hardest. My dogs have had every kind of nylabone and buffalo horns, and they have beautiful white teeth-even the oldest one(I should chew on their toys!) Actually anything could crack a tooth cause s#*t happens!

We have used yak chews but Elsie didn’t care for them that much. She likes to chew on moose paddles.
